She is married to Charles Kariithi, with two biological daughters, five foster children, and two grandchildren.
Her professional background includes a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, certification as a Positive Discipline Educator, and mediation training as a Certified Professional Mediator. She also holds post-graduate theological training and a Bachelor's in Agriculture and Human Ecology.
Currently, she is the National Coordinator for Family Ministry at Scripture Union Kenya and an Associate Pastor at Deliverance Church International, leading the Family Ministry Department. She has previously worked in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fellowship of Christian Unions. Passionate about family wellness and empowerment, she focuses on building strong, healthy family relationships and mentoring women socio-economically and spiritually.
She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Kenya Counsellors and Psychologists Board, the Kenya Counselling and Psychological Association, and the Kenya Marriage and Family Therapists
