Martin Nyongesa

Nyongesa is a seasoned programme management professional with over 15 years of experience. He currently serves as the Partnership and Resource Mobilization Manager at Scripture Union of Kenya. Previously, he focused on governance, particularly transparency and accountability in public resource mobilization, allocation, and utilization. Throughout his career, Martin has engaged in diverse roles across both private and non-governmental organizations, overseeing programme implementation, resource mobilization, allocation, expenditure monitoring, and policy reforms. Notably, he has cultivated fruitful partnerships with prominent entities such as DFID, GIZ, USAID, Open Society Foundations, and the Hewlett Foundation.

His remarkable achievements extend to consultancy engagements in Monitoring and Evaluation, including a pivotal role at Open Society for Eastern Africa (OSIEA) where he significantly contributed to the integration of social accountability and monitoring strategies for Uganda Network on Law, Ethics, Health, Gender, and HIV (UGANET) and Inter Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) on matters concerning violent extremism and radicalization.
