When Children Meet Jesus: Christ-like Children Campaign

Scripture Union launched the Christ-like Children Campaign, an initiative aimed at providing 25,000 vulnerable children with daily devotional materials to strengthen their connection with the Bible and Jesus.

Many children from low-income families lack access to resources that help them engage with the Bible daily. Through this campaign, Scripture Union seeks to ensure that children and families can nurture faith and Christ-like character through Scripture.

The campaign was unveiled on November 1, 2025, during a Partners’ Breakfast at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi, bringing together representatives from 17 organizations, church leaders, ministry partners, and supporters. Over 150 participants attended the launch, showing strong support for helping children grow in their relationship with Jesus.

The devotionals were dedicated by Rev. Hon. Mutava Musyimi, while Mrs. Nyambura Musyimi shared her experience distributing devotionals to children in need, highlighting the importance of ensuring that children have access to the Bible as part of their daily lives and family faith journey.

Scripture Union is now mobilizing churches, partners, and well-wishers to reach the target of 25,000 children, ensuring that more children grow in faith through the Bible and learn about Jesus every day.
