Scripture Union Kenya is a not for profit interdenominational Christian organization with the mandate of facilitating spiritual nurture for children and families. We do this through a variety of ways among them forming Bible Clubs in schools for evangelism and discipleship, showing the Jesus film, holding school rallies, holiday camps and Vacational Bible Schools as well as facilitating Programme for Pastoral Instructions (PPI). Our publishing arm ascertains Christians have daily devotional materials for children, young people and families.

I serve with Scripture Union Christian Book Centre. I have considerable experience in coordinating smooth daily operations of the Bookshop. Together with my able team in our four Bookshops, I have enabled consistency in tracking inflow and outflow of Bibles, Scripture Union devotionals, various books and materials, engaged in and coordinated numerous book reading promotions that have seen hundreds interact with a rich assortment of Bibles and materials. I continue building strong collaborations that see our materials meeting different people at their level of need.
Capt. Joyce Mwangi serves as the National SUK Scripture Engagement and Material Development (SE&DM) Coordinator, and she also serves as the current Regional Programmes Coordinator for SUK Central Region. She is an Editor/ Writer of SU’s Devotionals/ Dated Materials, with a specialty for children materials. Joyce loves children and has a deep passion and calling towards children. Her vision and drive is to see children encounter Jesus, and live transformed lives through salvation and discipleship. It is for this reason that she was commissioned as a Captain in Children Ministry. She champions the call to reach more and more children with the Gospel and Love of Jesus Christ as a Children Evangelist.
I'm a holder of CPA K and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option) from Kenyatta University. An astute Accounting and Finance Professional with experience in a Multi-national in executing Sound decisions through Proper Financial Planning, Budgeting, Cost Control, implementing process improvements, Working Capital Management and Promotion of Compliance in the Finance Department.
Serving in SUK’s Family Ministry Department, I am keen on helping parents and families be skillful in handling and raising children at home. I am deeply passionate about equipping for church leadership. I am currently teaching in a Bible school. Together with a team of writers, I help develop content for one of Scripture Union's children’s devotional books. What turns me aflame more is the desire to see children coming to faith in Jesus and leading them to be disciples of Jesus. I am also passionate in advocating for life skills for all, touching lives of children, teens and parents.
Rev. Paul Muoki works with Scripture Union of Kenya as the National Coordinator, Children Ministry. He is endowed with a wealth of experience working with children, well utilising both theoretical and practical approaches. He studied at the Technical University of Kenya and St. Paul’s University (Kenya). He loves working with children, and enjoys developing new concepts for children ministry that address the needs of today's children. He is also steering development of Child Protection & Advocacy and related issues. He is a writer of several SU materials, an avid reader, and greatly loves teaching. He is married to Rev. Elishipha Muoki and they have three children.
